Proceeds of Crime supports Inclusive World Cup


The first Inclusive World Cup will be organised by PossAbilities thanks to a £4,000 grant from the Greater Manchester Police proceeds of crime fund.

The summer event aims to bring together the community in a joyous sporting endeavour. Teams will adopt a nation and comprise: –

  • 50:50 males and females
  • 4 people with disabilities and 2 without
  • 1 person aged 65 or over

The teams will compete in a series of World Cup related competitions, with the overall winner being presented with their trophy at the annual Cherwell Summer Fayre in Heywood.
