We’re PossAbilities, a not-for-profit service who’ve been doing things differently since 2014, and we’ve got the stories (and the Shetland pony) to prove it. We’re not your typical care provider for adults with learning disabilities across the North West & West Yorkshire. Never have been. Never fancied it. Beige isn’t our colour.

We’re proud to be a Community Interest Company (CIC), which basically means we put people before profit. No shareholders. No suits in shiny offices. Just a team of real humans who care deeply, roll their sleeves up, and show up.
Every penny goes back into what really matters, supporting adults with learning disabilities across the North West & West Yorkshire to live the life they choose, in their own way, and on their own terms. From day services for adults with disabilities to one-to-one support and beyond, we’re here to make sure people get the right help, when and how they need it.

You won’t find any beige corridors or stuffy meeting rooms here.
Let’s start with Cherwell Green – our “own front door” apartments. These aren’t just flats, they’re freedom in bricks and mortar. A chance for adults with learning disabilities across the North West & West Yorkshire to live independently with support close by.
Then there’s our Wellbeing Garden & Farm – complete with chatty chickens, a Shetland pony called Teddy, and enough fresh air to blow the cobwebs off your soul. Whether it’s potting plants, stroking rabbits, or just sitting with a brew under the apple tree, it’s a proper little sanctuary for people of all ages, offering meaningful day services for adults with disabilities.
And we can’t forget The Social Lounge – our funky drop-in space open 364 days a year. It’s warm, welcoming, and full of natter, laughter, and the occasional karaoke belter. It’s where friendships grow, loneliness doesn’t stand a chance, and everyone gets a bit of extra help for adults with learning disabilities when they need it.
These aren’t just “facilities.” They’re places where life happens, where people feel seen, valued, and part of something real.
