How many companies have a pet farm and a one acre wellbeing garden at their Head Office?
Well, we do. It’s the Cherwell Farm & Wellbeing Garden and it’s open to everybody. Stop by and have a look. Bring your children and grandchildren. You are welcome. It’s a special place that we created with support from Viridor Credits, ASDA First Steps Fund, Adactus Housing and some money of our own....£150,000 in total, and it’s looked after by people with learning disabilities, our staff and local volunteers.
As well as our pigs, goats, racoon dogs, chickens, ducks, Jude the St Bernard dog, snakes, spiders, rabbits and birdlife the garden is amazing. It has a performance space; mud kitchen; dipping pond; sensory garden; growing zone; outdoor eating area; wildlife corridors; a bee hotel; hedgehog houses; and it tends to be full of very special people.
