Marylin Smith FCMA CGMA – Finance Director

Marilyn is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 15 year’s experience in finance at a senior level.

She joined Possabilities in April 2014 on the basis that if she was able to police the police, our money would be safe – her previous role was as an accountant with Greater Manchester Police.

Her wide ranging exposure to a number of public service settings – she also worked at Stockport MBC and Rochdale Boroughwide Housing – have equipped her with an ability to exercise strong controls and contribute to the development and planning of new services.

Marilyn has overall responsibility for all financial matters in Possabilities including budget planning, financial reporting, forecasting and financial controls.
